One of Victoria’s largest and most complex Maternal and Child Health services was experiencing significant workforce pressure, rising demand and increasing expectations around quality, reform alignment and service accessibility. Executive leadership required a clear, evidence-informed workforce strategy to ensure sustainability and long-term service excellence.

KF Consulting undertook a comprehensive workforce and service alignment review, incorporating demographic analysis, service utilisation data, policy context and structured stakeholder consultation. Through executive workshops and frontline engagement, we developed a staged and practical Workforce Strategy aligned to both operational realities and future reform directions.
