Nina O’Dea brings more than 25 years of experience across early childhood education, parenting services and maternal and child health-aligned programs. Her career reflects a strong integration of frontline practice, service leadership and workforce development.
Nina has held senior leadership roles within early learning environments, including Centre Director and Advanced Skills Director, where she supported service quality improvement, accreditation and workforce mentoring across multiple services. Her earlier work at The Queen Elizabeth Centre provided deep experience supporting families in complex and high-risk circumstances, strengthening her expertise in safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and coordinated service responses.
Currently engaged in training and assessing early childhood practitioners, Nina brings contemporary insight into workforce capability, regulatory requirements and emerging sector challenges. She understands firsthand the pressures facing educators and family support professionals.
